T J Hughes, a long-established discount department store group based in Liverpool, is renowned for offering premium brands and quality products at low prices. With 17 stores across the UK and a team of around 900 staff, the retailer continues to expand its footprint, adding three new stores at the end of 2015 and with further openings planned in St Helens, Merseyside and Maidstone, Kent.
The Challenge
As part of its growth strategy, T J Hughes needed to replace its legacy retail systems, which were increasingly outdated and costly to maintain. The company sought a modern, reliable platform that would streamline operations, improve responsiveness, and support its omni-channel retail model.
