Bründl Sports relies on Futura retail software

Dynamic Austrian sports retailer Bründl Sports Group is modernising all of their IT processes with the Futura4Retail retail management system to control and manage all 23 branches at key Austrian sports and holiday destinations. 

In addition Futura’s 4th generation real time EPOS solution Futura4POS will help to enhance the point of sale experience in store.

According to CEO Christoph Bründl: “We've worked with an international consulting firm and have radically analysed all our current processes and procedures with a critical eye. We made a call for tender on the basis of our new target processes and found that Futura4Retail is the best solution for our needs. The best-in-class retail management and logistics solution and hence operative excellence in our processes and in the company will be vital in the future.” 

The successful sports retail business, a member of the worldwide sports trading organisation Intersport, is represented at seven top locations in Austria, among which are international holiday destinations such as Kaprun, Zell am See as well as popular skiing destinations like Ischgl, Mayrhofen or Saalbach.

Futura's retail management system has been designed specifically for fashion and lifestyle brands including sports goods retailers and is ideally suited to supporting new processes in the administration of the Bründl Sports Group in future. The modern architecture of the Futura4POS EPOS solution enables comprehensive data management and live stock queries at the POS station. The solution is fully scalable and 30 POS stations are currently planned at Bründl Sports.
