FOUR BATH MUSEUM GIFT SHOPS CHOOSE FUTURA

Bath’s Roman Baths, Victoria Art Gallery and Fashion Museum, run by Bath & North East Somerset Council, have all chosen Futura’s retail management system for their four museum gift shops.

The Bath museums selected Futura for its speed at the tills, helping to keep queues to a minimum and its potential to program the system in stock allocation and order replenishment.

The museums are some of the first Futura customers to use new hot key functionality to provide greater flexibility and speed at the point of sale and improve customer experience.

For small items which cannot be barcoded, or which are particularly popular last minute purchases, Futura’s touch screens feature new hot keys, which automatically go straight to the item within the POS. This is particularly useful for gift shops selling high volumes of ‘pocket money’ purchases such as pencils or badges and improves accuracy, speeding up the customer buying experience.
