Tractors: the experience of agricultural technology

The sight of a 600 HP tractor or a 9m wide combine does not just amaze children but also adults. But at the John Deere forum these giants are not only to be viewed. Visitors can even get into the up to 4m high machines. The world's largest manufacturer of agricultural technology has created a world of experience for agricultural technology enthusiasts with their new exhibition and visitor centre.  A crowd-puller for visitors from the whole world. Besides the current models there are also historical tractors to be seen. Particularly praiseworthy is the pedagogical area for "future tractor drivers". Here kids can play with the small green and yellow models on a 1:32 scale. The forum also offers classes on agriculture for schools and nurseries. Inspired by the small and large machines, many visitors are attracted to the fan shop. This does not only offer toy models but also caps, t-shirts, outdoor clothing and much more.

John Deere’s logo, a cool deer is not only popular with customers, but has become generally hip. The John Deere Shop has switched to FuturERS in the check-out. Over 1000 merchandising articles are managed in the enterprise resource planning.

Thirsty or hungry from shopping and being amazed, visitors will find a place to catch their breath in the forum’s bistro. The interior balcony offers an excellent view of the exhibited machines. While enjoying a coffee speciality, a cold beverage or a tasty snack or cake, visitors can ponder on what they have seen. Furthermore, the John Deere Forum is developing more and more into a venue for cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. External agents and companies rent the building for presentations and receptions. A dinner between the agricultural technological machines is an unforgettable experience.
