Navigator

The Navigator – The central control element

The Navigator allows you to invoke the functions quickly and directly. User-orientated function trees (structured by organisational areas) appear on the screen so the user can easily go to the function he requires.

The active functions are clearly arranged in the work space. The screen background can be customized, e.g. by including a logo. Many of the FuturERS programs are integrated into the Navigator – external programs can also be launched from the Navigator.

Navigator – Individual design per user

The FuturERS Navigator is entirely customizable. During the installation of FuturERS you candefine the language. Additional language setups can subsequently be installed. Depending on the language set for the logged-on user, FuturERS is displayed in that particular language, provided it has been installed.  Moreover you can store a translation of the "term in the standard FuturERS terminology" into the "designation used in your company" for each language. This translation is transferred within a head office/branch system and affects print and screen masks. Thus, confusion can be avoided and a high corporate identity can be achieved within you staff.

Navigator - Favorites for each user

Recent or frequently used functions and applications are collected in the Favorites for each user. Hence, the FuturERS user has his particular applications in access at a glance. An irritating search for the right application can be avoided. Thus, the user has more time for an effective work with the software at his disposal.

Navigator - Shortcuts for quick access

Shortcuts allow a quick handling of frequenly used functions. According to the user's needs they are provided individually in the Shortcuts.

Navigator – multiple practical search functions

In addition to the handy possibilities of a simple navigation through FuturERS, several helpful search functions are available that easen the users daily work. Beneath an alphabetical search of functions and applications, also a full text search engine is available. Once a certain term has been searched, the Navigator automatically fades out all applications and functions that are not related to the corresponding term. Thus, the user receives a filtered view on those applications he is just looking for.
