Archive movement data

Archiving of movement data is a function that deviates from the GDPdU Interface, that is mainly developed for the German market. The GDPdU-Interface is a module of FuturERS that offers the possibility, to provide your data according to GDPdU regulations. As it is mainly German law, the legal aspect is of minor importance to foreign countries. But it also offers an advantage for foreign countries: The numeric part of deleted information (e.g. delivery notes) will not be deleted completely. It is rather moved to a sub-table. These data can be exported via SQL queries, even though they are not displayed within FuturERS anymore. This is a backup for data that have been deleted by accident.

What is GDPdU?

The German GDPdU ("Grundsätze zum Datenzugriff und zur Prüfbarkeit digitaler Unterlagen") dictate the basic requirements for accessibility and integrity of digitally archived documents.

This regulation makes sure that all tax-relevant documents that have been produced or received digitally are archived in a certain form. The reason for the introduction of the German Data Access and Digital Signature Authentication Law (GDPdU) was that the tax office's wanted to get easier access to corporate financial documents so that the Ministry of Finance can ensure that German companies pay the correct amount of taxes.
